This 6 piece cutter set contains all the cutters needed to make your very own cowboy boot measuring 12cm/4.7inches tall. This set is perfect for making items to sell in your studio but also makes for a fabulous workshop for girlie gatherings and hen do’s!
This cutter is printed in PLA filament.

Description
This listing is for an item(s) that is printed with PLA filament using a 3D printer. The photos alongside the main photo will show you bisque fired earthenware clay pieces made with the cutters / stamps and also some painted pieces for inspiration. You will also find extra inspiration in our gallery.
This item is perfect for making your own bisque to sell in your PYOP studio, for use within a pottery studio, or for your own handicrafts…. the only limit is your imagination!
The colour of your cutters and stamps may vary from those shown in the photograph.
After use, rinse in cool water (never use hot water and do not soak) and dry immediately. Store in a cool, dry place.
Instructions to make your cowboy boot…
- roll out clay to 7mm thick and use the cutters to cut out 1 of each piece, but 2 of the loop pieces
- score and slip the heel onto the underside of the sole and blend in
- stand up the main boot piece and score and slip the 2 straight edges
- join together and blend a sausage of clay inside and outside over the seam
- score and slip the flat edge of the base of the boot and the area where it will meet the sole and attach together – smooth out the seam
- poke a small air hole in the front of the boot
- gently squeeze the boot into the desired shape
- score and slip the front piece and around the edge of the sole
- attach the front piece onto the sole, and firm in place
- score and slip the back piece and on the boot, just above the heel – attach this piece, blending where it meets the front piece
- pick up your boot and blend the joins underneath
- seal all the joins with a damp paintbrush
- score and slip the ends of both loop pieces and gently fold over the top of the boot and squeeze into place
- add any extra details you want… just remember to score and slip anything you add
