Gingerbread House Basic Cutter set

This item is for 3D printed cutters to make your very own gingerbread house! You will receive 4 cutters in this set; one for the roof, one for the front walls, one for the side walls and one for the base. Your finished gingerbread house will be 15cm tall.

We roll our clay to 1cm thick, if we’re stamping a design onto the walls and roof first then we do this before building our house. You’ll need to cut 1x base and 2x front walls,2x side walls and 2x roof. Form the walls around the base making sure that you score and slip the edges and reinforce the seams so that you can’t see the joins. This has been designed so the walls for around the base rather than on it.

Always make sure any additions are fixed by scoring both parts, adding slip and then making sure the piece is firmly in place and reinforced with an extra sausage of clay where possible.

Once the walls are secure, add the roof on top and lay a sausage of clay in the join to attach the two pieces together, smooth in and then add balls of clay (don’t forget to score and slip!) to the top to finish.
